ACM Forex Review

ACM forex is a Swiss company born in 2002, whose headquarter is in Geneve, in Switzerland, with branches all over the world: Dubai, Montevideo and New York. It is, without a doubt, one of the largest forex brokerage companies, and there are many traders that opened at least one account with them.
There is not one general opinion about ACM markets forex, reviews are mixed: some did not have any problem with them and actually gained some considerable money, others advise to stay away from them.
This ACM Forex review is about my personal trading experience with them over the past two years. I am in no way affiliated with them
Let’s say upfront I am a satisfied with their service. There are some things here and there that could be improved, but all in all I think their platform is a very good tool if you want to do forex trading at a good level.

ACM forex trading platform is not particularly intuitive nor user-friendly. In order to use it efficiently, a certain level of experience with other forex trading platforms and forex in general is necessary. The same can be said for their website, which contains a lot of information, but whose design is not as appealing as that of other forex brokers. I am not sure if this was intentional or not, but these two things almost seem to create a natural selection in the potential users, leaving out those too inexperienced to find ACM forex suitable to their level of knowledge.

• It is one of the few brokers that offer a spread which is lower than the single pips.
• Bank transfer (wire transfer) used to be the only ways of transferring the money to an ACM account, but this aspect has been improved, and now Credit card and Paypal can also be used.
• ACM’s trading platform is available for 27 currency pairs, and also for gold and silver.
  It is ISO 9001 certified, and is also compliant with other financial regulatory institutions.
  Their demo accounts have no restriction, compared to the live one, this means that you will be able to do all the things you would do in real trading.
• Spreads are generally very competitive.
  

As anticipated above, there is a general controversy around this broker. Many disgruntled ex-users claim that when they started to earn real money with them, ACM forex put in place all sorts of tricks prevent this from happening.
In my experience with ACM forex trading this never happened to me, but it is fair to say that, even though I earned some money with them so far, this not my main trading broker.
Being faithful in forex trading never pays off. Even when you have found a forex broker that works for you, never stop looking around; use the demo accounts as much as you can, as they can give you in most cases a fairly good idea of the service. If at some point you are no longer satisfied, or you think something “strange” happened, do not hesitate to reconsider your business relationship with them.
